Do I have to appear in Court if I hire an attorney from Melrose, Seago & Lay? PDF Print E-mail

In most cases, no, you do not have to appear in court if you have an attorney representing you.  If you hire an attorney and sign a waiver, then an attorney from our office will go to court and act on your behalf.  We will not plead your case to something other than discussed without your approval.

Absolutely, if retained, an attorney will personally evaluate your situation and determine what the best course of action is in YOUR case.  We take into consideration all relevant factors such as driving record, effects on your insurance and the circumstances surrounding your ticket.  Once equipped with this information, we then will go to court and attempt to achieve the best possible result for you.
